Author's Opinion :A Personal Reflection

When we talk about God, it means that we talk about everything for He is the First Cause according to St. Thomas' Five Reasons of the Existence of the Supreme Being.
Back in the time when Jesus Christ, our Lord was not born yet, people in the Old testament have these laws or  commandments to follow, it was made by the high priest or the oldest in the community. These commandments made accordingly, in order for them to have disciplinary cautions and an organized community.

Commandments from God, is Holy and it is our right to follow them, whether we like it or not  . In the Old testament, Moses became popular when he set the Hebrews free from Egyptian slavery. We can see the story of Moses in Exodus. why in Exodus? because Exodus means "The Travel" . Exodus is the compilation of all the story when Moses and the Hebrews traveled to the promise land, Canaan.
And on this travel, God gave His Ten Commandment that filled with "thou shall not". But sadly, people do not take this seriously,

We jumped in to the story of  Jesus Christ who perform the holistic sermon on the mount.the beatitudes. Some bible scholars, says that it is nine beatitudes but for us Catholic, it's eight. What is these? Do we need these??

Questions hang up! But of course we need these, it was intended for us . This is the basis of how we are going to live our life.  These are guidelines of our actions: Whether we act accordingly or in the favorable will of the Lord or in a manner that is disgusting on His part.

We are not judge but we do our duties as His children. We as man, are very much attached to temptation, these beatitudes will guide us.

As a christian, we have to consider God's will. Do not then, tempt God to judge us because for sure we can't take it. The mere question is how? How to do these?  It is very simple.

As a simple, ordinary people, nature or the Earth is our safe haven. it is where we lived but somehow on the other side of  being a man and a consumer of the main producer, we destroy it. Not only our planet but we destroy ourselves too, we destroy our fellow being.

Is this how we act accordingly? remember Jesus told us " Love your neighbor as you love yourself". we should care of our brothers and sisters, rather than destroying them, physically, mentally and emotionally. I remember a quotes saying " If you can't love your neighbor/others, at least don't hurt them. That will be the best compliment you  can give." Note, don't hurt them.

These beatitudes talks about how we live and how we act. Like Jesus in His times.

Share what you have, love, help and serve there is nothing wrong doing these. It can lift up our soul but make sure do these wholeheartedly not fake, not because it must but because you want.
Do these things, follow these beatitudes live life with its guidance after all, we always say " wala namang mawawala."
